Sepahan Moves Provisionally Top of IPL Table
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Sepahan defeated Zob Ahan football team 3-1 in Isfahan derby to move provisionally to the top of Iran Professional League (IPL) table.
On Friday, Mohammad Mohebbi, Danial Esmaeilifar and Yasin Salmai were on target for Sepahan at the Foolad Shahr Stadium and Hossein Shanani scored for Zob Ahan.
Sepahan moved top of the table with 25 points.
Esteghlal sits second with 23 points and one game in hands.
Moreover, Paykan and Machine Sazi shared the spoils in a 2-2 draw, Aluminum Arak was held to a 1-1 draw by Saipa, and Gol Gohar and Naft Masjed Soleyman played out a goalless draw.
