People in Karachi March in Solidarity with Palestinians (+Video)
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Hundreds of demonstrators marched through the streets of Karachi, Pakistan, in support of Palestinians.
Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khran's ruling party Tehreek-e-Insaf called for the protests, which also took place in the city of Lahore.
"Demonstrators chanted anti-Israeli slogans to protest attacks by Israeli police with tear gas, rubber bullets and stun grenades on Palestinians at Masjid al-Aqsa and show solidarity with residents of Sheikh Jarrah who have been targeted by Israeli forces," Ejaz Ahmed Chaudhary, the President of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf party, noted.
Similar protests were held in other Pakistani cities including Multan and Gujrat.
