Iran’s Sabre Team Wins Silver in 2023 Asian Championships
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran’s sabre national team claimed a silver medal at the 2023 Asian Fencing Championships.
On Tuesday, the Iranian team was defeated against South Korea 45-28 in the final match.
The bronze medal went to China, who defeated Japan.
Iran’s Ali Pakdaman had won a gold medal in the senior men’s sabre on Saturday.
His countryman Mohammad Rahbari won a bronze medal in the discipline.
The competition was held in Wuxi, China.
