Iran Exports $3.3 Billion of Mining Products, Minerals in 3 Months

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iranian Mines & Mining Industries Development & Renovation Organization (IMIDRO) in its latest report announced that $3.3 billion worth of mining and mineral products was exported form the country in the first three months of the current Iranian calendar year.

Mining and mineral companies exported 15,812,000 tons of various products, valued at $3.320 billion, from March 21 to June 22, IMIDRO added.

The country had exported 13,717,000 tons of mining and mineral products from March 21 to June 22, 2022.

Of the total mining and mineral products exported in this period, over $1 billion was related to the exports in the steel and steel products sector.

 In addition, Iran exported ceramics, tiles, alumina powder, antimony, titan, nickel, mica, precious metals and stones in the first quarter of the current Iranian calendar year.
