Iran Thrower Olad Shortlisted for 2023 Best Male Athlete
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iranian Para athlete Mahdi Olad has been shortlisted for the 2023 Best Male Athlete.
He seized a gold medal in the Men's Discus Throw-F11 of the 2022 Asian Para Games.
He will vie for the accolade with athletes from Japan, Chinese Taipei, China, South Korea, Saudi Arabia, Uzbekistan and Syria.
On the sidelines of the Asian Paralympic Committee (APC) General Assembly and Executive Board elections underway in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, APC announced the name of eight candidates for the accolade.
