Iran’s Habibi Named Los Angeles Team Handball Head Coach
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Former Iran national handball team head coach Alireza Habibi was named the new head coach of the Los Angeles Team Handball.
The Iranian coach led the Iranian national team in the 2020 Olympic Games qualification, where Team Melli failed to secure a place in the Games.
Ex-Iran goalkeeper Mohsen Babasafari has also joined the American team.
The 36-year-old goalie has most recently played for Romanian team HC Buzău.
