Albania Parliament Hit by Cyberattack

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Albania's Parliament confirmed on Tuesday that it faced a cyberattack, leading to a temporary suspension of its services as hackers attempted unauthorized access to its data system.

In an official statement, the Parliament clarified that Monday's cyberattack did not compromise the system's data integrity. However, concerns over potential ramifications prompted experts to investigate the attack's potential consequences.

The statement assured that services disrupted by the incident would gradually resume once the situation was resolved.

Reports from local media indicated broader cyberattacks on a cellphone provider and an air flight company on the same day. Allegedly attributed to hackers named Homeland Justice, the validity of these claims remained unverified independently, as mentioned by ABCNews.
