Sepahan Beaten by Shams Azar, Persepolis, Mes Share Spoils: IPL
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Sepahan football team lost to Shams Azar 1-0, while Persepolis and Mes Rafsanjan shared the spoils in a 1-1 draw in the Iran Professional League (IPL) on Monday.
Shams Azar defeated Sepahan in Qazvin thanks to Rahman Jafari’s goal in the 6th minute.
In Rafsanjan, Persepolis was held to a 1-1 draw by Mes. Shahab Zahedi scored for the visiting team in the 42nd minute and Brazilian forward Luciano Pereira equalized the match in the 52nd minute form the penalty spot.
On Wednesday, Zob Ahan will play Gol Gohar in Isfahan and Foolad meet Nassaji in Ahvaz.
