Iran Has High Potential to Boost Non-Oil Exports: Official

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – An official at the Iran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture (ICCIMA) said the country enjoys high capacities to enhance non-oil exports, especially given the high potential of the private sector.

Payam Baqeri called on the government to throw its weight behind the private sector and economic enterprises of the country in line with spurring trade and economic activities.

He went on to say that high-quality Iranian products are highly welcomed not only in neighboring countries but also in most other countries.

Iran’s non-oil products have been welcomed by 15 neighboring countries, the Eurasian Economic Union (UAEU) member states and also some African states, he said.

Baqeri urged all responsible organizations and officials to cooperate with one another in order to materialize the economic objectives of the country, IRNA reported.
