12 Petrochem Projects to Go on Stream in Iran in Months: NPC Chief
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – The chief executive of Iran’s National Petrochemical Company (NPC) said 12 petrochemical projects will be put into operation by the end of the current Iranian calendar year (to end March 20, 2025).
Morteza Shahmirzaei pointed to the motto of the current year named by the Leader of the Islamic Revolution as the year of “Production Surge with the People’s Participation” and said that his company will make utmost efforts in line with the materialization of the predefined objectives of the petrochemical industry in the current year.
The deputy oil minister called on all activists in the petrochemical industry to cooperate with one another to realize the strategic objectives of the petrochemical industry in the current year, according to IRNA.
Shahmirzaei went on to say that the putting into operation of 12 petrochemical projects by the end of the current year will have a decisive role in the production growth and economic development of the country.
