Muslim Group in US Condemns Washington's Support for Israeli Crimes

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) criticized the ongoing approval from the US government towards Israel's genocidal war in Gaza, denouncing it as "Israeli crimes against humanity".

Ibrahim Hooper, the communications director for CAIR, stated in a release, "These Israeli crimes against humanity are being committed daily – even hourly – with the active support of the Biden administration."

He emphasized the urgent need for tangible steps to halt the genocide, ethnic cleansing, and forced starvation occurring in Gaza, warning that failure to do so would severely tarnish the US nation's reputation internationally.

CAIR highlighted the recent "massacre of children" in the Maghazi refugee camp, underscoring the grim toll of Israel's relentless offensive.

According to the Gaza Health Ministry, the number of Palestinians killed in Israel's six-month onslaught on the Gaza Strip has now climbed to 33,899. Over the past 24 hours alone, fifty-six Palestinians have lost their lives, with eighty-nine sustaining injuries.

The ministry's data reveals that at least 76,664 people have been wounded in the relentless barrage of attacks. Shockingly, among the deceased are more than 14,520 children and 10,000 women. The actual death toll is likely significantly higher, with numerous bodies believed to be buried beneath the rubble of buildings leveled by Israeli airstrikes.
