Vafaei into 2024 World Snooker Championship Last 32
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran’s Hossein Vafaei advanced to the 2024 World Snooker Championship last 32 on Thursday.
Vafaei defeated 18-year-old Chinese Jiang Jun 10-5.
"I wasn’t playing great to be honest, after the interval I was thinking 'oh my God, that was the worst performance I had in my life.' I washed my face, came back and after that I started playing well," said Vafaei.
He will face English snooker player Judd Trump on Saturday.
