Brazilian Club Itambe Minas Completes Signing of Karimi
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran international setter Javad Karimi joined Brazilian volleyball club Itambe Minas on Monday.
The 36-year-old player, who helped Arcada Galati become runner-up in the Romanian league last season, will play for Itambe in the 2024-25 season.
“I am very happy to have this opportunity to play for Itambe Minas. It's a big club that has a fantastic structure and is an iconic team in Brazil and the world. Furthermore, Brazilian volleyball is a school that I admire a lot, so I'm sure it will be a fantastic experience. I will do my best to achieve our goals,” said Karimi.
Karimi will represent Iran at the 2024 Volleyball Nations League (VNL).
