Yazd to Host International Handball Tournament
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran’s central city of Yazd will host a five-team handball international tournament.
The Yazd handball tournament has brought Uzbekistan and Iraq junior teams to the Iranian central city.
Iran youth and junior teams as well as a team from Yazd, will take part in the tournament.
The competition will kick off on Sunday.
Iran prepares to participate at the 17th Asian Men's Junior Handball Championship in Bahrain.
The competition was originally scheduled to be held in Shiraz, Iran from March 20 to 29 but the Asian Handball Federation (AHF) has changed the host due to coronavirus fears.
