Iran’s Moradi Takes Silver at World Para Powerlifting World Cup
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran’s Nader Moradi won a silver medal at the 2021 World Para Powerlifting World Cup in Bangkok, Thailand on Friday.
He claimed the silver by lifting 204kg at the under-72kg class.
Malaysian Bonnie Bunyau Anak Gustin (226kg) and Alexandr Daskov from Kazakhstan (140kg) won gold and bronze, respectively.
A total of the 54 powerlifters from nine countries across Africa, Asia and Europe have participated in the event.
