Tokyo 2020: Iran’s Amir Khosravani Claims Gold in Long Jump

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Long jumper Amir Khosravani from Iran won a gold medal in the 2020 Paralympic Games on Monday.

He grabbed the gold with a jump of 7.21 meters.

Leinier Savon Pineda from Greece snatched the silver with 7.16 meters and the bronze medal went to Saeid Najafzadeh from the Republic of Azerbaijan with 7.03 meters.

Rouhollah Rostami won Iran’s first gold in powerlifting in the 2020 Paralympic Games. Vahid Nouri and Mohammad Reza Kheirollahzaheh have also won two gold medals in judo.
