Five Iranian Women into Kyrgyzstan’s Alysh Grand Prix Final

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Five Iranian women wrestlers advanced to the Bayaman Erkinbaev Memorial Senior Alysh Grand Prix underway in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan.

Sepideh Babaei advanced to the final match in the 55kg weight class.

In the 60kg class, Fatemeh Fattahi booked her place in the final match.

Mohadeseh Hosseini qualified for the final in the 65kg category.

Reyhaneh Gilani advanced to the final bout of 70kg.

And Hanieh Ashouri won a berth in the final match of the 75kg.

Alysh is a Turkic term for Central Asian folk wrestling or "belt wrestling" regulated by United World Wrestling.
