Iran Held by Uzbekistan at 2022 CAFA U-16 Championship
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran and Uzbekistan shared the spoils in a 2-2 draw in the opening match of the 2022 CAFA U-16 Championship on Friday.
Reza Ghandipour and Mahan Sadeghi scored for Iran.
Sadegh was also named the Man of the Match.
Tajikistan, Iran, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan and Afghanistan have come together in the eight-day tournament.
The 2022 CAFA U-16 Championship is being held in the Republic Central Stadium in Dushanbe, Tajikistan.
