IPL: Esteghlal Battles Back to Beat Malavan
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Esteghlal football team earned a 3-1 away win against Malavan on Thursday in Iran Professional League (IPL).
The Blues conceded a goal in the first half but scored three times in the second half in Bandar Anzali's Sirous Ghayeghran Stadium.
Sajad Bazgir scored for Malavan in the 37th minute but Aref Gholami scored the equalizer in the 57th minute.
Mehdi Ghaedi made the scoreboard 2-1 in the 79th minute just 14 minutes after he came off the bench.
Mehdi Mehdipour scored the third goal from the penalty spot in the added time.
Also, Mes Rafsanjan were held to a goalless draw against Gol Gohar and Sepahan defeated Nassaji 2-1 in Isfahan.
On Friday, Persepolis will host Foolad, Tractor meet Zob Ahan, Havadar face Naft Masjed Soleyman, Mes Kerman entertain Paykan and Sanat Naft play Aluminum.
