Iran Ready to Provide Mali with Scientific Technologies
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – The foreign minister of Iran voiced the Islamic Republic’s readiness to share its technological advances with Mali.
In comments at the first meeting of Iran-Mali Comprehensive Cooperation Committee, held in Bamako on Tuesday, Hossein Amirabdollahian expressed Iran’s readiness to offer scientific technologies to Mali and broaden the economic and trade relations with the West African nation.
He also noted that Iran is ready to stage an exhibition of technology in Mali.
The top Iranian diplomat also unveiled plans to donate one million doses of COVIran Barekat vaccine for the coronavirus to Mali.
The foreign minister of Mali, for his part, lauded the Iranian administration’s policy of expansion of relations with African states.
Unlike a number of countries that seek domination and imposition of policies, the Islamic Republic of Iran pursues cooperation and enhanced economic interaction with African states, Abdoulaye Diop added.
The senior Malian diplomat also praised Iran for its remarkable scientific and industrial progress under the pressure of international sanctions.
Heading a high-ranking economic delegation comprised of representatives from the private and state-run sectors of Iran, Amirabdollahian has embarked on a tour of Africa that will later take him to Tanzania and Zanzibar.
