US Held by Saudi Arabia in Friendly
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – The US football team wrapped up its World Cup preparations with a 0-0 draw against Saudi Arabia on Tuesday.
The match was played in a virtually empty stadium in Murcia, southern Spain.
The US had lost to Japan 2-0 in Germany last Friday.
The draw means the US will head to the World Cup short on confidence as it prepares to face Wales, England and Iran in the first round group stage.
