Iranian FM Spokesperson Slams US for Hypocrisy, Hostility in Nowruz Message

In a post on his Twitter page on Tuesday, Kanaani said that “enmity with the Islamic Republic Establishment and the Iranian nation is an inseparable part of the US regime's foreign policy", and that this is evident every year in their Nowruz message.

Kanaani specifically criticized the false claim made by the US officials in their message of supporting Iranian women, while “simultaneously maintaining and intensifying oppressive sanctions against the people of Iran.”

According to Kanaani, this is “a display of hypocrisy and hostility by the US regime and its anti-Iranian leaders.”
