Iran’s Tabatabaei Wins Gold at Dubai Open Chess Tournament

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran’s Mohammad Amin Tabatabaei won the title at the Blitz event of the 23rd edition of the Dubai Open Chess Tournament.

Tabatabaei finished in first place with 8.5 points.

India’s GM Arjun Erigaisi also participated in the event.

A total of 170 players representing 47 countries battle for top honors at the 23rd edition of the Dubai Open Chess Tournament.

Hosted by the Dubai Chess and Culture Club, the prestigious tournament is being held from May 27 to June 4.
