Iran 6th at 2023 Men’s Hockey5s Asia Cup
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran lost to Bangladesh 7-6 at the 2023 Men’s Hockey5s Asia Cup 5/6th place in Oman's Salalah on Saturday.
Navid Taheri Rad (two goals), Aref Hamedi (two goals), Amir Mahdi Mirzakhani and Mahdi Shahrokhi scored for Iran.
Iran defeated Hong Kong 7-2, Indonesia 5-2, Kazakhstan 12-8, Afghanistan 12-2 and Japan 10-1 and lost to Malaysia 6-1 and Bangladesh 7-6 in the Challenger Pool.
India and Pakistan will vie in the final match.
