Inter Facing Uphill Battle in January Pursuit of Taremi

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Inter is reportedly looking to sign Porto striker Mehdi Taremi in January, but this won’t be an easy task at all.

The 31-year-old was one of the club’s main transfer targets in the summer, however, a deal never materialized.

But according to Calciomercato, signing Taremi in January will be a tricky task for the Serie A leader.

As the source explains, Porto is not willing to part ways with the player despite his expiring contract.

The Portuguese giants is requesting a figure between 5 and 6 million euros to sell the striker.

Moreover, Inter could be facing competition from mega-rich Saudi Pro League sides. These clubs are ready to offer the Iranian a salary of 10 million per season.

Therefore, securing the player’s service will become an easier mission in the summer, once his contract with Porto runs out.
