Ronaldo’s Al Nassr Looking for Perfect Record against Persepolis
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Al Nassr will look to confirm its Round of 16 spot when it welcomes Persepolis to Riyadh for its AFC Champions League 202324 Group E tie on Monday.
The Saudi Arabia side only needs a point to confirm top spot as it sits five points ahead of Iran's Persepolis.
Cristiano Ronaldo-powered Al Nassr, however, will not be content playing for a draw against a Persepolis side it defeated 2-0 in its Matchday One meeting.
It has been firing on all cylinders both domestically and on the continental stage and will be keen to advance to the knockout stage with a perfect record.
Persepolis was left to rue dropped points after being held 1-1 by Tajikistan's Istiklol FC on Matchday Four, the draw coming after two consecutive wins.
