Iran’s Hashemi Wins Bronze at 2024 Asian Indoor Athletic Championships
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Elham Hashemi of Iran claimed a bronze medal in the 11th edition of the Asian Indoor Athletic Championships underway in Tehran on Saturday.
She finished in third place in the women’s shot put, throwing 14.27 meters.
Chinese thrower Sun Yue won the gold with 17.65 meters and Uzbekistan’s Nasriddinove Malika seized the silver with 15.42 meters.
The 2024 Asian Indoor Athletic Championships are being held from February 17 to 19 in Tehran, the capital of Iran.
