Iranian Arms on Display in DIMDEX 2024

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – A series of Iranian weapons, including missile systems and drones, have been exhibited in the Doha International Maritime Defense Exhibition and Conference (DIMDEX) in Qatar.

The Ministry of Defense of Iran is among the 67 VIP delegations that have attended DIMDEX 2024.

In its pavilion, the Defense Ministry has put on display a number of homegrown weapons, including Dey-9 short range air defense system, various anti-ship cruise missiles, radars, and shoulder-launched weapons.

A number of Iranian drones such as Shahed-129 and Shahed-149 (aka Gaza), rifles, machine guns, imaging radars, and bombs are also on display in the pavilion of Iran.

Iranian Defense Minister Brigadier General Mohammad Reza Ashtiani has traveled to Doha to take part in the military exhibition and hold meetings with Qatari officials.

The 8th edition of DIMDEX is underway from March 4 to 6.
