Iran Climbs Five Places, Brazil Remains Top: BSWW Ranking
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran climbed five spots in the Beach Soccer Worldwide (BSWW) released on Tuesday.
After securing its sixth FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup title, in Dubai, Brazil retained its place at the top of the ranking as its opponent in the final, Italy has climbed five places to move into second place in the ranking.
Third place finisher at the World Cup, Iran has risen five positions to break into the top five of the ranking, whilst World Cup host UAE has moved up one position into seventh spot after reaching the quarter-finals of the tournament.
The biggest mover in this update is Belarus, who gained 12 positions in the ranking into eighth place after a successful competition as it reached the final four.
