Iran U-18 Handball Team to Compete at Russian Tournament
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran's men's U-18 handball team will participate in the Russian international tournament in Moscow.
Iran will play Russia and Belarus in the three-team tournament.
Iran's youth handball team will compete in the tournament as part of preparation for the 2024 Asian Men’s Youth Handball Championship, where it has been drawn in Group A along with Iraq and India.
The top five teams from this competition will earn qualification spots for the 11th IHF Men’s Youth (U19) Handball World Championship in Slovenia, scheduled for July/August 2025.
