Hossein Vafaei Feels Great to Beat O’Sullivan
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iranian snooker player Hossein Vafaei is very happy to beat world No. 1 Ronnie O’Sullivan at the 2024 World Open Last-16.
He prevailed 5-4 in the last 16 of the World Open in Yushan, China on Thursday.
“I’m very happy to get the victory. He is my hero. Just playing against Ronnie O’Sullivan is a dream come true, but what about winning?" Vafaei said.
“I’m not going to talk about past results, all that matters is the moment right now. The past is past and right now I’m so happy.”
