Majid Hosseini Undergoes Ankle Surgery
TEHRAN (Tasnim) - Iranian footballer Majid Hosseini, who plays for Kayserispor, underwent ankle surgery on Saturday.
He sustained an injury during a match against Hong Kong in the 2023 AFC Asian Cup in January, causing him to miss the remainder of the tournament.
Hosseini will most likely be sidelined for the rest of the season.
The surgery was performed by Kayseri surgeon Sinan Karaoglu.
