Zahedi Leads Avispa Fukuoka to 9th Place
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Japan’s Avispa Fukuoka football team moved up to the 9th place with its third win in five games after its Iranian forward Shahab Zahedi scored a miracle winning goal against Gamba Osaka.
In the 22nd minute of the match, Zahedi found the back of the net with his left foot through a 70-meter strike.
Now, Avispa sits ninth with 15 points, seven points adrift of leader Machida Zelvia.
It was Zahedi’s sixth goal after joining Avispa in January.
