IRISL Ready to Develop Maritime Transport in Latin American Routes

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Concurrent with the Iranian president’s Lain America visit, the Islamic Republic of Iran Shipping Lines (IRISL) voiced readiness to dispatch a representative based in Caracas to facilitate the import and export of goods to and from Venezuela.

Earlier, ships were sent in the form of a regular line to Venezuela every three months, but now, the way has been paved for businessmen and economic activists to send ships to Venezuela in the shortest time possible to the destination of this country and other Latin American countries.

The national shipping fleet of the Islamic Republic of Iran announced its readiness to increase the origins and destinations of ships carrying export and import cargo between Iran and Latin America.

In line with the special emphasis of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution regarding the need to pay special attention to the promotion of trade with Latin America, the IRISL is seriously determined to continue the regular line for export of cargo to Venezuela and Latin American countries.
