Palestinian Resistance’s Military Organization Remains Strong despite Relentless Israeli Bombing

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – After more than 18 days of relentless Israeli airstirkes against the Gaza Strip that, according to Palestinian officials, has destroyed 50% of the coastal enclave, the military organization of the Palestinian resistance remains intact.

An informed source in the Palestinian Islamic resistance told Tasnim that despite causing extensive destructions in residential areas, the Israeli attacks have failed to target even one percent of the capabilities of the military organization of Hamas.

In the early days of the recent conflict, a senior Hamas official put the number of Palestinian resistance forces in Gaza at over 40,000, saying not more than 2,000 of them took part in the Al-Aqsa Storm operation on October 7.

While Zionist officials have claimed they have dealt heavy blows to Hamas headquarters and targetted the group’s senior commanders, the informed source rejected the Zionists’ claims, saying the number of resistance fighters martyred in the past two weeks is below 200.

The source said the Islamic resistance is ready to confront any aggression on Gaza by the Israeli regime’s army and is quite capable of destroying the enemy.

The source added that the tunnels and structures of the resistance in Gaza have not been damaged in the Israeli attacks and the resistance, which is equipped with anti-armor rockets and other weapons is prepared for a long-term battle.

Earlier, the Palestinian Islamic resistance had announced the death of more than 20 Israeli prisoners as a result of blind airstrikes by the Zionist regime. It is clear proof that the Zionists’ main objective in the airstrikes or a possible ground invasion of Gaza is to kill as many Israeli prisoners as possible to reduce the bargaining power of the resistance in case of a ceasefire.

With their assessments about the high military preparedness of the Islamic resistance and its ability to confront the enemy in a war of attrition in case of a ground invasion by Israel, it seems that the Zionists have second thoughts about entering the Gaza Strip despite remarks by Israeli military and political officials about their decision to launch such an operation.
