Trump Appears to Endorse Supporters' 'Genocide Joe' Chant at Pennsylvania Rally

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Former US president Donald Trump seemingly backed chants of "genocide Joe" from his supporters at a Schnecksville, Pennsylvania rally on Saturday, referring to President Joe Biden's handling of the Israeli war on Gaza.

Trump asserted, "They're not wrong," while also criticizing Biden's policies and expressing solidarity with Israelis amidst escalating tensions in the region.

According to Business Insider, Trump further criticized Biden's approach, stating, "He's done everything wrong."

The term "genocide Joe" emerged from Pro-Palestinian demonstrators protesting Israeli aggression in Gaza and Biden's unwavering support for criminal acts by Israeli forces, which Gaza's health ministry reports have resulted in over 33,700 deaths.

Despite his criticism, Trump also expressed support for Israel at the rally. He attributed recent retaliatory attacks on Israel by Iran to what he deemed as the Biden administration's global "weakness."

Trump continued his familiar attacks on Biden, labeling him as "crooked Joe" and a "demented tyrant". He also addressed concerns about rising gas prices and immigration, criticizing Biden's handling of these issues.

Meanwhile, Biden cut short his weekend trip to Delaware, convening with his national security team upon his return to the White House.

As tensions simmered abroad, Trump faced legal battles at home. His trial over alleged hush money payments to Stormy Daniels is scheduled to begin jury selection on Monday. Trump denounced the trial as a "scam" and a "witch hunt," asserting his intention to testify and proclaiming his innocence. "I'm testifying. I tell the truth. All I can do is tell the truth; the truth is they have no case," he stated during a press conference at Mar-a-Lago on Friday.
