Fasihi Seizes Gold at 2024 Asian Indoor Athletic C’ships
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iranian woman sprinter Farzaneh Fasihi won a gold medal in the 11th edition of the Asian Indoor Athletic Championships underway in Tehran on Sunday.
She came first and also bettered her own record by clocking 7.20 seconds.
Olga Safronova of Kazakhstan won the silver with 7.35 seconds and Thailand’s Poolkerd Supanich claimed the bronze with 7.38 seconds, respectively.
The 2024 Asian Indoor Athletic Championships are being held from February 17 to 19 in Tehran, the capital of Iran.
